Anshu Mehan FCA CTA

Anshu has responsibility for corporate tax, tax planning and strategic planning.

Anshu qualified as a Chartered Accountant in India in 1992 and, following her marriage, moved to the UK in 1993. She then qualified again as a Chartered Accountant in England in 1997. To enhance her interests and credentials in the field of taxation, she went on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2001.

She joined KPMG as a tax consultant in 1997 and following a short stint with Tenons from 2001, joined HSKS in 2003 as Tax Manager. She became a Director in July 2007.

Anshu’s areas of expertise include:

• tax planning
• tax compliance (both direct and indirect taxes)
• inheritance tax
• probate applications
• The tax implications of specific transactions including sales, acquisitions and reorganisations

Anshu is married with one child and has keen interests in local charities, travelling and playing indoor sports.
